The conversation about low-value care has been gaining momentum for the last five years. How can healthcare systems move beyond the conversation into action? Learn how the emerging field of Health Technology Reassessment is being used as an enabling tool in two Canadian provinces.

Dr. Clement is the Director of the Health Technology Assessment Unit within the O’Brien Institute for Public Health at the University of Calgary, a policy responsive research unit that completes evidence synthesis, economic evaluations, health technology assessments and reassessments in response to decision-makers’ needs. Her research interests include drug and non-drug technology reimbursement and cost containment policy, evidence in decision-making, and evidence in health policy development.

A light lunch is included in this seminar. Please contact Joyce (joyce.huang@ubc.ca) to RSVP for lunch by Friday, July 13. You may also join remotely via GoToMeeting: https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/297740069. Please let Joyce know if you would like to join this way.
