Aging demographics in BC demand reorientation of health services. Non-medical home support services such as the Better at Home program aim to enhance the ability of seniors to “age in place” while offsetting healthcare system costs. This seminar will describe the challenges and findings of the evaluation of the program’s impact on seniors’ use of health care.

Jonathan Beaumier, RN, BSN, MPH completed his MPH practicum at CHSPR under the supervision of Professor Kim McGrail and is a registered nurse at Vancouver General Hospital. He is interested in the design and analysis of quasi-experiments and research synthesis methods.

A light lunch is included in this seminar. Please contact Joyce (chspr.reception@ubc.ca) to RSVP for lunch by Friday Sept. 20. You may also join remotely via GoToMeeting: https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/297740069. Please let Joyce know if you would like to join this way.
