Registration

Please register online and pay with a credit card. Note that you will be taken to a third party payment site to complete your registration. Please contact UBC CPD by email to address any registration difficulties.

Date and Time

The conference will be held Monday, March 3, from 1:00 to 6:00 pm Pacific Standard Time (PST), and Tuesday, March 4, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm PST. Exact times are subject to change. The conference will be preceded by optional pre-conference workshops on Monday, March 3, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm PST.

Workshop Registration Fees

Two concurrent pre-conference workshops are offered at an additional cost. The Team-based Care Evaluation and Metrics workshop fee is $100 + GST for in-person registration or $50 + GST for virtual registration. The Co-building Relationships at the “Speed of Trust” workshop fee is $50 + GST for in-person registration (virtual registration is not available).

Patient Partner Registrations

We are working with our sponsors to cover registration for patient partners who wish to attend the conference. If you are interested in attending, please email chspr.reception@ubc.ca with a short description of your background and experience as a patient partner and a statement explaining why the conference interests you. Please indicate whether you would like to attend in-person or virtually. If more than five patients express interest prior to the early bird deadline of Feb 3, 2025, we will award the registrations by lottery. If you do not receive a complimentary registration, you will be able to register at a discounted rate of $200. We have a limited budget for travel support. If you would require travel support, please note this in your email.

Student Registrations

Students must provide proof of current full-time enrollment when registering. Post-doctoral fellows are not considered students.

Shared Registrations

Registrations are for individual use only and cannot be shared.

Single Day Registrations

One day registration is not available.

Substitutions

Substitutions are welcome! In the event you have to cancel and cannot attend, please contact UBC CPD by email and confirm the name of the individual who will replace you at the conference.

Cancellation Policy

The Conference Organizers and their agents reserve the right to cancel the event up to ten (10) days prior to the event date. Each registrant will be notified by telephone, with written notification and a full refund following. The University of British Columbia is not responsible for any costs, including but not limited to airline or hotel penalties. If written notice of withdrawal and original receipt is received at UBC CPD before February 3, 2025, the registration fee will be refunded less a $50.00 CDN administrative charge. No refunds will be granted for withdrawal after this date, although a substitute delegate may attend at no additional cost. No refunds will be granted for any reason once the conference has commenced.

Switching Between In-Person and Virtual

Please contact UBC CPD by email to switch your registration.

  • Virtual to in-person: The upgraded amount will be charged.
  • In-person to virtual: Up until Feb 3, 2025, the registration fee difference less a $50.00 CDN administrative charge will be refunded. After Feb 3, 2025, the registration fee difference less a $150.00 CDN administrative charge will be refunded.
